Jackie's business came about through a series of personal and professional experiences. Her clients and students actually called the practice into being. While working as a psychotherapist and supervisor, she taught Yoga in the evenings. Her psychotherapy clients expressed interest in Yoga as a way to relieve stress. As her Yoga students opened up physically, they began to use her as a confidant and sounding board for issues that came up during Yogic relaxation and stimulation. It was a natural turn of events to merge the two practices and eventually Yoga Therapy was born. She is now offering all three services…YOGA, YOGA THERAPY & THERAPY.
With the success of this inter-disciplinary approach as a private practitioner, Jackie has further expanded her services. She is offering workshops and retreats scheduled throught the year, or as desired by you. So... in 2006, after dreaming of this for quite some time, OM Away From Home was born as well. It's as if Yoga, Yoga Therapy, and Therapy had a sister, OM |
